Today my topic is about Famous Places in Our state .In our state we have more popular places.Kanaka Durga Temple of goddess Durga is situated on the Indrakeeladri hill in the city of Vijayawada on the banks of Krishna River. A large number of pilgrims attend the colourful celebrations of Tepotsavam and for holy dip in the Krishna river during the festival of Dusshera.
Tirumala Tirupati, the abode of Lord Venkateswara, is the second richest and most visited religious centre (of any faith) in the world. This temple is also one among the 108divyadesam dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Brahmotsavam (Brahma's Utsavam) is a nine day long festival held every year in the month of October and as many as 5,00,000 devotees will throng to the hill for seeking blessings of the lord.
Araku Valley is a hill station in Alluri Sitharama Raju district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, lying 111 km west of Visakhapatnam city. This place is often referred to as Ooty of Andhra. It is a valley in the Eastern Ghats inhabited by different tribes, mainly Araku Tribes.
The Prakasam Barrage stretches 1223.5 m across the Krishna River connecting Vijayawada, NTR and Mangalagiri Tadepalle Municipal Corporation, Guntur districts in Andhra Pradesh, India. The barrage serves also as a road bridge and spans over a lake. The three canals associated with the barrage run through the city of Vijayawada, crossing it and giving it a Venetian appearance.Like that we have more famous places in our state.
