 1.Sri Venkateswara Temple


Tirupati is one of the Major cultural and religious pilgrimage spots in India. The city is located at the southern part of Andhra Pradesh and is situated at the foothills of the Eastern Ghats in the Chittor district. Although the major language spoken here is Telugu, the word Tirupati is a Tamil word as saint Ramanujacharya who was a Tamil Vaishnava saint was responsible for founding this city. The town is famous for its temple dedicated to ‘Balaji’, a form of Lord Vishnu. The temples foundation history is unknown and it was expanded over the centuries by various kingdoms and dynasties including the Chola, Pallava and the Vijaynagar Empire. The temple is one of the major pilgrimage spots in India and especially in the southern India. Apart from the temples, there are various other attractions like parks and zoos. 2.Talakona Waterfalls


The impressive cascade is the highest waterfall of the State of Andhra Pradesh. It offers an impressive 270 ftfall before the water splashesto the bottom. The falls are located in the Sri Venkateswara National Park in the Chittoor District. Lord Siddheswara Swami Temple situated very close to these falls makes it a popular tourist destination.Enriched with a wide variety of flora, Talakona was declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1990. The best season to visit here is during the monsoon season.

3.Sri Vari Museum

Another popular museum to visit its Tirupati is Sri Vari Museum. This museum is located next to Karnatak Choultry Srivari Museum. A visit to this museum will give a glimpse of the ancient history of the city. The museum’s collection include ancient scriptures, sculptures as well as pictures that depicts the bygone days of the temple in Tirupati. You will come across many document that explains the story behind the architectural design of the temples. It is the abode of Shiva, from whose head, according to legend, the Ganges is said to flow. Shiva, ‘that which is auspicious at all places, times and in all circumstances’ is a symbol of the Self and the Ganges flowing from his head represents the spiritualized or awakened mind. A mind sourced in Spirit is a river of immeasurable power and life-giving goodness.

5.Kanipakam



Vinayaka Temple or Sri Varasidhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple is a Hindu temple of Ganesha. It is located at Kanipakam in Chittoor district of Andhra PradeshIndia.[1] The temple is about 11 km from Chittoor and 68 km from Tirupati.
